Travel Information
It is easy to access Corfu by plane (frequent flights from Athens lasting 40 minutes but during the summer period there are frequent flights directly to Corfu from many cities of Central Europe).
The airport in Corfu is almost in the city. So, no more than 7 Euros to get to your hotel by taxi in less than 5 minutes. Taxi is recommended between the airport and the city since it is cheap, and taxi drivers are professionals, polite and they charge the legal fares.
It is also possible to travel Corfu by boat through Italy or even by hydroplane! However, air traveling is recommended. You may go through Athens International Airport (40 minutes flight between Athens and Corfu), unless you are able to have a direct flight to Corfu. Some possible airlines are mentioned below.
