Karyotis Vasileios

He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), a Master’s degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA, and a Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests focus on network-centric information systems, particularly the analysis, modeling, and applications of complex networks; topology control and resource allocation in wireless networks; and the modeling and control of information dissemination in network-centric systems.

Research Interests

  • Network Science: complex network analysis & dynamic network processes
  • Cross-layer design, topology control and Cognitive Radio networks
  • Malware propagation modeling
  • Big network data
  • Resource allocation, QoS, routing, capacity-delay in decentralized and autonomous networks
