He holds a degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace and a Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at the University of Ioannina. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the French research organization CEA. His publications focus on theoretical condensed matter physics. His current research interests concern mathematical models applied in computer science.
