Georgios Dimitrakopoulos

Georgios N. Dimitrakopoulos is Assistant Professor at the Deprtment of Informatics, Ionian University, Corfu since 2025. He received his Diploma in 2010 from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. He completed his PhD at the same Department in 2018 with the dissertation entitled Machine Learning methods on large scale data with application in network analysis in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience. During his PhD, he worked as Research Assistant at SINAPSE Institute, National University of Singapore (2015-2017). As Post-Doctoral researcher, he worked at Dept. of Medicine, University of Patras (2018-2019), Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences of the Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (ICE-HT/FORTH) (2019-2021) and Department of Informatics, Ionian Univesity (2021-2025). He has teached various lessons in Dept. of Management Science & Technology, Univ. of Peloponnese, Dept. Of Informatics, Ionian University and Hellenic Open University.
