This special issue shall shed light on new developments and implementation of soft computing in the fields of engineering, applied science and theoretical research. All interested researchers, academicians, engineers and scholars are invited to submit current research works in the field of artificial intelligence, including relevant applications in solving optimization and modeling challenges using computational intelligence.

The objective of this special issue is providing a dynamic infrastructure for running researches in the area of soft computing to share novel research outcomes and promote the application of artificial intelligence and other machine intelligence approaches for solving real-world complex engineering problems. Topics include but are not limited to:

•    Computational Optimization

•    Image and Video Processing

•    Soft-Computing & GPU Programming

•    Machine Learning and Data-Mining in Information Systems

Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality, original work that has not been published by other journals before. All papers are reviewed in a peer-review process and checked with the CrossCheck database. All published papers will receive DOI number.

All papers of Journal of Machine Intelligence (ISSN: 2377-2220) are indexed by major indexing lists –including but not limited to US Library of Congress, CrossRef, DOAJ and Google Scholar. In addition, Journal of Machine Intelligence is also being processed to get index in ProQuest, EBSCO, SJR and Scopus.

•    Paper Submission:        October 30, 2016
•    Authors Notification:        4 Weeks After Submission
Note: Article Publishing Cost (APC) for papers that are submitted by August 1, 2016 will be waived, and accepted papers will be published free of charge. Regular APC of 300$ will apply for submissions received after that date.
