The Department of Informatics Νέο παράθυρο , Ionian University organizes the first "Corfu Innovation Summit" in the context of the research and development project PACiNNO - Platform for trans-Academic Cooperation in Innovation, which is co-funded by the European Union (IPA-Adriatic CrossBorder Cooperation Programme 2007-2013).

The conference will be held on 5-7 October 2015 in the premises of the Corfu Holiday Palace Hotel in Corfu. Among the objectives of the conference is to bridge the gap between research and entrepreneurship by actively encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship activities from startups (start-ups), as well as the dissemination of PACiNNO project's results in promoting innovation actions in the entire Adriatic area.

It is addressed to undergraduate & graduate students, doctoral students, researchers, teachers, professionals who wish to learn or expand their knowledge in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship and participate in the relevant discussions and round tables that will take place.
