Short Description:
The course aims to analyze learning theories and principles of neuropsychology, education models, and pedagogical approaches as well as contemporary sociological issues of education.
Objectives - Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, the students are expected to: a) describe the different pedagogical approaches, b) distinguish the basic concepts and principles of each pedagogical approach by contrasting their characteristics, c) deal with the contemporary pedagogical issues of the educational process and d) explain the complexity of the factors that influence the educational context, analyzing the role of the teacher, the learner and the interaction among them.
