Information visualisation and interaction, definition and history, design and aesthetics. Visualisation technologies: interaction, graphics, multimedia, big data. Modern applications: geographical maps, digital journalism, life logging, private data, decision making, art, cultural heritage, digital collections. Development of a modern information visualisation application with linked data and web technologies.
