The 4th Conference on Informatics in Education (4th CIE 2012) is organized by the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus and the Department of Informatics of Ionian University in cooperation with the GSC and focuses on Informatics and Information Technology in education. It covers all levels of formal education (econdary, Primary, Higher) and non-formal education.

It will take place in Athens, particularly in areas of the University of Piraeus, 5-7 October 2012 and will run in parallel and in the same area as the 16th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics (PCI 2012).

The work presented at the conference this year will be included in the minutes which will be both in paper and electronic form.
