He received his BSc, MSc, and PhD from the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece (in 09/2011, 02/2013, and 07/2016, respectively), under the supervision of Theodore Andronikos, Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, Ionian University.

His research interests include Automata Theory, Algorithms, Quantum and Unconventional Computation, Probabilistic models of Computation and Logic, and Semantic Web.

Member of the association “Computability in Europe”, IEEE Computer Society, and ACM SIGACT.

-Organizing Committee of NUBACoM 2017.
-Guest Editor of the Special Issue on the Computational Aspects Related to Unconventional, Bio-Inspired and Quantum Methods in Computation.
-Served as a PC member in various conferences, as well as a reviewer for various journals and conferences.

Founding member of the research group QUIT (Quantum and UnconventIonal CompuTing group) and member of the NMSLab (Networks, Multimedia and Security Systems Laboratory) and BiHeLab (Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Lab).
