Before the end of each academic year, the Department Assembly issues a Call for Expressions of Interest for the Postgraduate Program (MSc) for the upcoming academic year. The call is published on the website of both the Department and the Postgraduate Program, as well as in the press.

Call Content

  • The maximum number of admitted students to the MSc program, which is set at a maximum of forty (40) students per year (Article 7 of the Government Gazette).
  • The admission requirements for prospective postgraduate students.
  • The required supporting application documents.
  • Application deadlines and the exact method/link for electronic submission.
  • Any other details deemed necessary by the Department Assembly.

Mandatory Admission Requirements:

  • Holders of a first-cycle degree (Bachelor's level) from domestic Higher Education Institutions (Universities and TEIs) or recognized equivalent foreign institutions are accepted into the MSc program (Article 4 of the Government Gazette).
  • Sufficient knowledge of the Greek language (for international applicants). Good command of the English language.

  1. Online Application Form.
  2. Copy of first-cycle degree/diploma (for graduates of foreign institutions, an equivalence certificate from DOATAP must be submitted or the relevant applicable legal provisions apply).
  3. Official Undergraduate Academic Transcript (including final degree grade/GPA).
  4. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  5. Proof of English language proficiency (at least B2 level / First Certificate or higher).
  6. Proof of Greek language proficiency (exclusively for international applicants).
  7. Photocopy of both sides of the Police Identity Card (or Passport).
  8. One (1) recent photograph (passport/ID size).
  9. Up to two (2) letters of recommendation (academic and/or professional).
  10. Certificates / proof of professional and/or research activity (if applicable).
  11. Summary of undergraduate/diploma thesis or copies of any scientific papers & publications (if applicable).
  12. Any other certificate/document that strengthens the application.

Evaluation Criteria

Undergraduate degree grade, additional academic degrees, foreign language proficiency (good command of English is mandatory), professional or research experience, letters of recommendation, and an interview with the candidates.
